Hotel Divisamar and there personnel  is involve in several Programs  to  safe   the  Rainforest    as the Manuel Antonio National Park,  The Damas Island Estuary protected Area,  The Cerro Nara protected Area too  and others conservation private projects.

We the hotel  company  support the Manuel Antonio National Park Area,   Esfuerzos Humanitarios  Quepos group Organization,  The Copaza local activities, the Bilingual  School - Escuela de Manuel Antonio,   the  Quepos new  Public Library, also support the Quepos Police,  The  Manuel   Antonio  Group ( GMA ),  Quepos Commerce of Chamber, the High School -  Liceo de Quepos  and many other local institutions and efforts.

  •  Help us to recycle  cans,  plastic  and  paper,  the hotel can help you  with more information how to do it and the  program  availables !!
  •  We use biodegradable  products, friendly with nature  ( Shampoo,  liquid  gell and liquid  Soap ) in all our rooms. 
  • To safe energy the  hot water  is coming from  Solar thermo heathers   by the sun and  by help with gas  heather.
  • Saving water  by just working late at  night half our pumping hot water systems.
  • Safe  Energy  Program,   to let the guests to reuse  the room  towells  one more time

 Hotel  Divisamar  is  proud  to be  part of this effort of conserve the nature since more than six years  and top keep Green the area of Manuel Antonio, there for, we agree to establish several programs  in the past years and with  the  government   policies of Conservation, there support, which  we are  Award.

  Participation in the program is entirely voluntary !!!

It is a Program by  the  ICT,  seeks to categorize and certify each tourism company according to the degree to which its operations comply to a model of sustainability. Four fundamental aspects are evaluated:

 

1.       Physical-biological parameters

2.       Infrastructure and services

3.       External clients

4.       Socio-economic environment

 The Certification in Sustainable Tourism Program - CST - is a logo ICTproduct of the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT). CST was designed to differentiate tourism sector businesses based on the degree to which they comply with a sustainable model of natural, cultural and social resource management.

CST is regulated by the Costa Rican National Accreditation Commission and consists of a scale of 5 "levels" of sustainable tourism achievement.

The C.S.T. Program was developed by the Sustainability Programs
Department of the Costa Rica Tourist Board and the Costa Rica National
Accreditation Commission.
