The Area of the Manuel Antonio National Park was established in 1972 encompasses 1700 acres. Inside the Park are four well maintained white beaches curving around a bay strewn with islands of rock and shaded by numerous trees. This Manuel Antonio Beach is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the Park System. We have heard from our quests that the sand beaches are the whitest of all Central America. Facilities available at the Manuel Antonio National Park include marked walking trails, restrooms and picnic areas. Both Punta Cathedral and Puerto Escondido have scenic overlooks  and many more to explore.... In September 2011 was nominated by Forbes Magazine as one of 12th  most beautifull parks in the world.......
 
The Manuel Antonio National Park is open daily from  7.00 am till  4.00 pm   - Closed  every Monday.-  The daily entrance fee is $ 10.00 U.S. dollars p/p - ¢1,600.00 colones for Costa  Rican, (rates effective since February 2008). Children under 5 years old, entrance for free. The Manuel Antonio National Park abounds with orchids, bromeliads, majestic hardwood trees & tropical flowers.   Remember  the Hotel Divisamar  offer  Daily Guided Tours with transportation round trip included  from the hotel Divisamar, pick up  since 7.15 am  Recommend reservation in advance at the front desk.  Handicaps  special pass.  Is  helpful to let cars go inside  to transport  for  handicap and  senior  by Costa Rican  law 7600 for handicap.

It has a variety of wildlife with more than one hundred species of mammals. Animals commonly sighted include numerous varieties of parrots, white-faced and howler monkeys. The most allusive residents of the Manuel Antonio National Park are the raccoons, coati-mundis, toucans, iguanas, opossums, sloth’s, agoutis, peccaries, seabirds, frigate, pelicans, terns and brown boobies. At the limits of the park you may dive. At the entrance to the park there are several restaurants, bars, and snack bars. There are also rental facilities which rent boogie boards, mats, towels and beach wear. Sportfishing charters are also available for the enthusiast. Sorry No Fishing, Radios  or Liquor allowed inside the National  Park area.  Park Closed on Mondays.  Please do not fee the wild animals.
 
Also we can offer a special tours for bird watching inside the National Park  and outside, mornings or afternoons for  your convenience.
 
There is a  local  shuttle bus stop  in front  the hotel Divisamar to take you to  the beachs & National Park entrance daily, just a 5 minutes ride or less. Every 20 minutes is passing  the  shuttle,  they  start running  from Quepos Town to the beaches, passing  since 6.00 am to 10.00 pm daily.  shuttle fare  cost in any direction the equivalent in colones  les than of $ 0.60  us cents  approx.  for the local bus do not need exact change  285.00 colones per person (March 2013 cost).   Surf boards are welcome on the local bus.  
 
We recommend  to carry:  water or any drinking  liquid,  sun cream, and a hat. Have a  great time on the  beaches inside the National Park too. !!!
